Allegro Ringers
The Allegro Ringers are 11 members strong and are under the direction of Gayla Lonsbery.
This group meets every Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. We also have child care available during our rehearsals. Typically, we are learning two songs at a time.
The director teaches both bell ringing techniques as well as music-reading skills. She has over 10 years of experience and enjoys bringing the world of music through bells to new ringers.
The musical selections vary throughout the year. The group plays traditional, contemporary, praise and classical arrangements. The bells have also played with the organ, vocals and brass players.
In addition, the schedule for the season is set up in advance. All ringers know when every rehearsal and performance will happen. In addition, it is published on the website.
