Youth Bells

The youth of the church also ring bells. At this time, they are called the Youth Bells. (The Youth Bells have not yet picked out a name for the group.) The group has nine members and are ages 12’Äî16.

The youth bells started in March, 2008 and already have mastered some of the techniques used in bell ringing. They have learned how to ring together and support each other during the preparation of a song.

Youth Bells meet most Sundays from 8:45 a.m.’Äî9:15 a.m. Any youth interested in joining this group should contact the director, youth director or the church office for additional information.

On Sunday, June 29th, the Youth bells performed a ring a story called Jericho, Joshua and the Walls. This Sunday was designated as youth Sunday. They decided that this was the ’Äúsermon’Äù of the day.

As you can see, they all dressed up with costumes of the period. The narrator told the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho with the bell choir interjecting their musical comments. This sermon also included a wall that the kids of the church walked around and at the right moment knocked it down.

The message ’ÄúWith God anything is Possible’Äù, was clearly demonstrated in this unique presentation
